Original Practice, Love's Labours Lost, The Space, February 29th, 2024

King of Navarre and his companions avow to avoid all contact with women to focus on their studies. When the King of France’s daughter arrives on a state visit with her three attendants, their resolve is challenged.
Little Lion Theatre Company present our first ever Original Practice Experiment to raise money to support our full-scale production of “Portia’s Julius Caesar” by Kaitlyn Riordan.
We will be using some of the original practice techniques of Renaissance English theatre: cue scripts in hand; limited rehearsal; and an onstage prompter. This is Shakespeare like you’ve never seen it before – as fresh to the actors as it is to the audience.
