Sami Hokkanen is an independent filmmaker and director from Helsinki Finland. He has studied filmmaking in London LCDS MA Screendance course, in Stockholms Dramatiska Högskolan and he has a theatre directing MA degree from the University of Essex. 
 
Currently, Sami is working in Helsinki Finland as an assistant director at Optipari production company for network series. Series are broadcasted by Yle which is the Finnish public service broadcasting company and has the most extensive and varied online selection of television and radio programmes in the country.
 
Sami is also known as an actor from theatre, tv-commercials, films and tv-series.
